Sometimes the head is where you feel the pain, but the neck can be part of the story. Cervicogenic headache is a recognised type of headache arising from structures in the neck, and may occur alongside neck pain, restricted movement or pain aggravated by neck movement.

Where neck stiffness or restricted movement appears to be involved, Longy’s work focuses on that musculoskeletal component.

Headaches can have many causes. New, severe, unusual or unexplained headaches should be medically assessed before hands-on treatment.
